Doe Creek Day
Celebrating our Heritage. Annual Event. Re-enactment of one room school days begins at 9:30 a.m. preceded by music, followed by a program, followed by a free lunch. Lunch is a typical Doe Creek School lunch; one year it is white beans and cornbread, the next it is soup and cornbread. This year it is soup and cornbread followed by dessert, of course. Doe Creek School is the oldest one room long school still standing in the state of Tennessee.
