Naked Man Chased and Arrested in Weakley Co.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, Tenn. – A naked man was taken into custody by Weakley County authorities after a chase, Sunday. According to the report from the Weakley County Sheriff‘s Department, a deputy responded to a pursuit that began in Obion County when a driver refused to stop for deputies. When the suspect‘s vehicle came to where the Weakley County deputy was waiting for it, the driver tried to ram the deputy‘s cruiser. Officials chased the driver, who was reportedly driving erratically, on Ralston Road in the county. When the driver got out of the vehicle, he was naked and was taken into custody without further incident. The man arrested was identified as James Bell, 29, of South Fulton. He reportedly admitted to officers that he was taking methamphetamine. Bell was taken to the Weakley County Jail where he was booked on several charges: Evading arrest Driving Under the Influence 2nd Offense Driving on Rev/Susp License Aggravated Assault Violation of Seat Belt Law Failure to Drive within Lane Failure to Obey an Order Failure to Exercise Due Care Failure to Yield Violation of the Implied Consent Law Reckless Driving Indecent Exposure
