VIDEO: Jackson toddler with Down Syndrome wins trophy at West TN State Fair
JACKSON, Tenn. — A Jackson toddler brought home a shiny new trophy over the weekend.
2-year-old Mason Sheppard, who has Down Syndrome, is the son of Tommy and Brooke Sheppard. According to his mother Brooke, Mason has a “personality out of this world.”
That personality helped him snag 1st Runner Up in the West Tennessee State Fair Pageant on Saturday.
Brooke says Mason was “ecstatic to win.”
