5 charged in connection with Clarksville woman’s death

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – Four people have been arrested in connection with the death of a woman whose body was found burned in Middle Tennessee, and a fifth person charged in the case has been added to Tennessee’s Ten Most Wanted list.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation on Tuesday announced the arrests in the death of 31-year-old Amy LeeAnn Murphy of Clarksville.

Burned human remains were found Feb. 1 in Robertson County.

A special Montgomery County grand jury returned indictments Monday.

Charged with first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse are 26-year-old Kevin Forman, 34-year-old Kellum Williams and 38-year-old Carol Williams. Two others, 27-year-old Lee Poe and 19-year-old Sandra Murphy, are charged with accessory to first-degree murder. Poe is also charged with abuse of a corpse.

All were arrested except Kellum Williams.
