2015 Summer Camps at The Dixie (Theatre Camp- School House Rock Live Jr.)
Theatre Camp Instructors: Andrea Cottrill and Kristin Klonowski, Asst. Jennifer Caterina Monday – Friday June 8-12 1st-3rd Grades: 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. 4th-6th Grades: 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday June 15-18 Entire cast – 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Performance on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. Registration and Auditions will occur on Tuesday, June 2 from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Only students wishing to be a lead role need to audition. Cost: $100 Saturday morning cartoons with a school day theme? Who doesn’t love “School House Rock Live Jr.?” Through team work we will put together a musical production in a short amount of time. Participants will be coached in music learning and performance techniques, choreography, singing, character development, and staging. Our time together will culminate with a performance on the Dixie stage. Who says Summer means you can’t learn a little about school AND have fun? Script & shirt included!
