Small plane crash in Middle Tennessee kills 1

CENTERVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – Authorities say one person has died in a plane crash in Middle Tennessee.
Hickman County Sheriff Randal Ward says the plane appears to be a single-engine model, but it’s not known if there are any other victims. The person who was killed hasn’t been identified.
Media outlets report the sheriff’s office says the plane crashed Wednesday afternoon near Highway 100 and New Hope Road in Hickman County.
The investigation is continuing, and the Federal Aviation Administration has been notified.
