A business in Chester County is expanding and soon will be hiring 20 new workers. Arvin Sango opened for business last year in Henderson and business is booming. When this $3 millionr expansion is complete and workers are hired the business will also supply body shell parts for the Corolla. “We are doing so good that cooperate has decided to expand the facility and give us more products to the Tupelo plant,” said plant manager Bryan Imhoff. Construction will be completed in August. The plant will double in size to 100,000 square feet. Arvin Sango’s pay will start at $12 an hour. “I believe we will probably start in the neighborhood of late July to mid August with job fairs taking applications that sort of thing,” Human Resource Specialist Donna Butler said. More jobs in Henderson make the mayor a happy man. “We probably have about 3,500 people a day leave Chester County to work somewhere else, so we are real pleased when we get those people back in the county working,” said Mayor Bobby King. Twice a day, five days a week, exhaust system supplies are transported from Henderson down to Tupelo, Mississippi to help make Toyota Corollas. “The Tupelo facility is ramping up right now into full production and they will get up to 600 Corollas a day that we will have to support with the exhaust systems,” Imhoff said. “There is a lot of excitement in the city right now. They are seeing the dirt move so they know it’s just around the corner,” Butler said.
