Car Crashes into House

There were tense moments for the driver of a pickup truck who was trapped insider her vehicle after crashing into a house in north Jackson, Friday evening. The crash happened just before 6 at the corner of Forest Pointe and Turtle Creek Drive. According to investigators, the driver apparently lost control and crashed into a house on Turtle Creek Drive. Emergency responders worked for several minutes to free the woman. She was taken by ambulance to a Jackson hospital with were believed to be non life-threatening injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
