Residents Head out to Car Show

Nearly 100 competitors spent the weekend show cases their cars. Dozens of residents came out to see what competitors had to offer. Thomas Media hosted the car show at the Jackson Fairgrounds in South Jackson.There were classic cars dating back to the 1920s to more modern day Ford Mustangs.Residents said the event was one for the entire family. “They love to tell you about their cars. They are all very passionate about their cars. There is a story behind every vehicle here today, and that is what is so much fun,” said Organizer Deb Smith. One 105 cars were on display and categories included Classic, Hot Rods, Muscle, and Antique cars.
