Man Charged with Rape of a Child Appears in Court

A Madison County man charged with rape of a child is still in jail following his preliminary hearing in Madison County General Sessions Court. Joshua David Rose, 35, was arrested on May 11 on charges of rape of a child, child abuse and neglect. Judge Hugh Harvey found there was probable cause and bound the case over to the Madison County grand jury. Judge Harvey also ordered Rose not to have any contact with the victim. Rose is being held on a $100,000 bond.
