Troops Return to Trenton after Year Long Deployment

TRENTON, Tenn.-More than 160 soldiers from Trenton who returned home, Tuesday. 7 Eyewitness News was there when the rest of the 230th Engineer Battalion arrived at the National Guard Armory in Trenton around 6 p.m. Their families could hardly contain their excitement during the excruciating wait. The men and women have been away from home a year serving in Kuwait and Afghanistan. More troops from West Tennessee will return home, Wednesday. Close to 150 Union City Guardsmen from the 913th Engineer Company are set to arrive in Obion County early, Wednesday afternoon.
