Local Car Dealer Collecting School Supplies
HUMBOLDT, Tenn. – Even though the school year has already started some kids are still in need of fresh school supplies. Local car dealer Lonnie Cobb is making sure kids get the supplies they need. Cobb is encouraging people to drop-off pencils, notebooks and markers enough to fill the bed of a Dodge 1500 RAM pickup truck. “We’re real happy to be a part of the Carl Perkins Center (for the Prevention of Child Abuse) and be part of the school supply for kids. It’s something Lonnie wanted to be involved in he knows what it’s like for kids not to have a whole lot,” said Carl Kitsman, General Sales Manager. Kitsman said all the school supplies donated at their locations will stay in the area.
