Tosh Family Farms holds grand opening for pig farm
CARROLL COUNTY, Tenn. — A local family farm company is changing their landscape with a new location.
Tosh Family Farms‘ newest location held an open house luncheon in the Buena Vista community in Carroll County.
Staff veterinarian Seth Krantz says this location will be home to around 6,000, where it’s expected to produce under 4,000 market pigs.
Family Farm partners will help raise the pigs throughout West Tennessee and western Kentucky.
“At Tosh Farms, we are committed to excellent animal care. We have a lot of dedicated people across our farms who are really invested in providing good care for pigs, and providing safe pork for our consumers,” Krantz said.
Positions are available.
Representatives say there are about 25 job openings for caregivers directly on the farm, in addition to at least six support staff positions.
