The charges against the Savannah woman accused of helping a man after he killed her mother have been dropped. The charges of accessory after the fact to both first degree murder and arson were dismissed Monday in Hardin County Circuit Court. The charges were dropped against Cybill Grant because the man accused in the actual crime, John Wesley was acquitted last month. Both May and Grant were charged last year, nine years after 58-year-old Mildred Grant was strangled, robbed and burned inside her home. Her murder remains unsolved.
