Man Charged with Murder in Karma Lounge Shooting

JACKSON, Tenn.- The Jackson man charged in one of the most violent shootings in the Hub City now faces more serious charges. Travis Steed has been indicted by a Madison County Grand jury in the February mass shooting inside Karma Lounge, where 19 people were injured and one man was killed. The six-count indictment includes charges of first degree murder and attempted first degree murder. Steed is currently serving a 12 year prison term for convictions of cocaine possession and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon. He was free on parole at the time of the shooting.
