JACKSON, Tenn.- The Madison County Commission held a meeting Tuesday night to discuss the Jackson-Madison County School system’s technology plan. The Jackson-Madison County School Board is asking for more than $1 million dollars to be used for tablets and computers. The idea behind the technology plan is that it will ultimately help raise the reading levels for children. “They brought a plan and we asked them to bring us a plan and they brought us a plan and i believe this is going to work. I want it to work.I want to feel good about it,” said Gary Deaton, a Madison County Commissioner. The committee will vote on the technology budget on March 17.
