MILAN, Tenn. — Residents in Milan are preparing for an annual event they hope will give crime a going away party. Members of the Milan Police Department met with residents from two wards in the city to plan for the annual National Night Out. Milan Police Chief Bobby Sellers said it’s important for the community to get involved to reduce crime. “They can help us by preventing crime, and they can also help us solve that crime by letting us know what they see and what they hear,” Sellers said. August 4 is the date set for Milan’s National Night Out. To find out where two other planning meetings will be held this week, visit the Seen on 7 section of our website.
