Man injured in Lexington newspaper shooting still in critical condition

LEXINGTON, Tenn. — A man injured in a Tuesday shooting at a Lexington newspaper is still in critical condition, according to police. The shooting took place around 11 a.m. at the offices of the Lexington Progress newspaper. Police say the shooting appears to have been self-inflicted. The man is in critical condition at a Memphis hospital where he was airlifted after the shooting. No one else was hurt, but employees of the newspaper say it will be difficult to recover.
