Deputies seek Martin man in burglary, thefts

WEAKLEY COUNTY, Tenn. — Deputies are searching for a Martin man they say broke into a home and stole about $4,000 worth of cash, jewelry and medications. Christopher Lane, 25, is accused of breaking into the Old Troy Road residence of an 83-year-old woman July 21 and stealing her property, according to the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department. Investigators recovered some of the property at a residence where Lane was staying, according to the sheriff’s department. Deputies have issued warrants for Lane’s arrest on charges of aggravated burglary and theft over $1,000. Lane is believed to be in the Martin area.
