Weather Update: 10:00 PM Sunday
Currently there is still some light to moderate rainfall through the northern half of the area. Lingering showers are still possible as we go into the late and overnight hours. Current temps are in the low to mid 70s and there is a slight chill to the air even with the humidity.
Tonight temps should fall into the upper 60s to low 70s with the chance for scattered storms to continue. It’ll be a muggy and cloudy night otherwise. Within some of the scattered activity there could be some heavy rain and a little bit of lightning.
Starting the week, we keep the hit and miss showers and thunderstorms in the forecast. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms are likely every day this week as the frontal system across the region stalls out. Afternoon temps this week stay in the mid and upper 80s with the humidity and the chance for scattered storms. Localized areas cold be dealing with flash flooding from the storms.
