TECD: Wise Company adding new jobs to its Savannah facility
SAVANNAH, Tenn.-An exciting announcement out of Hardin County, Tuesday.
Tennessee Economic and Community Development Commissioner Randy Boyd and the Wise Company, Incorporated announced that the manufacturer will create 74 new jobs and expand its current facility in Savannah.
The Wise Company is a leading American boat seat manufacturer.
“One thing that we found that’s also exciting is that the company is re-shoring jobs. These are jobs that were in Mexico that they’re bringing back to America, not just to America but to Savannah and Tennessee,” said Boyd.
Commissioner Boyd said they plan on starting construction on the new facility on December 10. They will also be adding a second shift to the factory with this expansion.
