West TN Down Syndrome Association hosts annual Buddy Walk

JACKSON, Tenn. — October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month and West Tennessee Down Syndrome Association is hosting their annual Buddy Walk.

After being cancelled last year families and friends were excited to spend the afternoon together.

The walk had face painting, pumpkin painting, and yard games.

Several awards were given out to youth and their families just to show appreciation and recognize them for being a vessel in their community.
