TVA has partnered with the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation to open 46 STEM centers across the region, and we are excited about the newest one at Margaret Newton Elementary School.

The partnership focuses on public schools and community-based youth organizations, particularly in underserved and rural communities. STEM Centers are fully equipped with hands-on educational tools designed to close opportunity gaps and support at-risk students.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will be on Wednesday, April 22 at 1 p.m. at Margaret Newton Elementary School in Tiptonville.

Representatives of Margaret Newton Elementary School, the Tennessee Valley Authority and Gibson EMC will be in attendance.
