Local organization holds its second biggest fundraiser of the year
MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — Hope Recovery- Men and Women of Hope organized a Valentine’s Day Banquet Tuesday evening.

The event was held at Hope Recovery Center in Medon.
Attendees enjoyed food provided by Hope Cafe, consisting of beef brisket and sides.
Entertainment was courtesy of Sandy Thomas, in addition to dance and song by the Women of Hope.
Organizers say this fundraiser helps the Hope Recovery Center continue its work.
“Our program is about men and women in addiction and they’re caught in that cycle, you know of drugs and alcohol,” said Marcie Hendrick, executive director of Hope Recovery- Men & Women of Hope. “We’re just in the fight to make sure that we can see these people actually just live a better life.”
Organizers say every $100 donation that was made gave attendees a special package deal including two tickets to the event, wood art crafted by the Men of Hope, and a beautifully crafted necklace by the Women of Hope.
