Sheriff Klyce said, “The events of today could have ended very tragically for the victim involved in this matter. Some days it takes every officer in the county to keep everyone safe and bring about a peaceful resolution. Multiple off-duty officers were enjoying a beautiful Saturday afternoon with their families, and when called to serve, did not hesitate to respond. Thank you to all those who serve our citizens keeping the peace and dignity in our communities. We will not tolerate violent crimes in our county, especially by felons. Today, we are sending a strong message: if you want to commit gun crimes in Crockett County, you’re going to prison.”
He is being held in the Crockett County Jail awaiting a bond by Judge Conley which will reflect the seriousness of the crimes with which Mr. Williams is being charged.
