Paris prepares for return of World’s Biggest Fish Fry

PARIS, Tenn. — The World’s Biggest Fish Fry is returning to Paris, Tennessee this month!

According to the official website, The World’s Biggest Fish Fry revolves around fried catfish dinners (12,000 pounds to be exact), parades, dancing, rodeo nights, carnival rides, fishing and more.

Events such as the Hushpuppy Dash begin as early as this Saturday morning.

The annual kick-off Street Dance will take place at 7 p.m. Monday, April 22 in downtown Paris, with the Fish Tent set to open and begin serving fried catfish at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24.

The Carnival will open at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23 and run through Sunday, April 28.

Finally, the Fish Fry Parade will make its way through the streets of Paris on Friday, April 26 at 10 a.m.

A variety of other events are sure to bring a week-full of fun for guests showing up and showing out to enjoy the annual tradition.
