Crockett Day School employee faces simple assault charges

ALAMO, Tenn. — An alleged incident taking place at Crockett Day School now has one woman facing three counts of simple assault.

55-year-old Lisa Hobock is accused of allegedly assaulting two children.

According to an affidavit, a parent stated Hobock yanked their 4-year-old child off of a shelf by their arm and proceeded to spank them.

Court records show that an investigator stated that video surveillance from the daycare shows Hobock striking the 4-year-old with an open hand gesture on their upper body more than 18 times over a period of 25 seconds.

The investigator also stated Hobock could be seen lifting a 2-year-old child by the wrist and swinging them three to four feet in the air.

According to the investigator, parents did confirm that it was their children in the video.

We reached out to Crockett Day School for a response, but have yet to receive one.

Although the incident happened in Alamo city limits, the case was moved to Milan City Court.

According to property data, the day school property is owned by Alamo Construction Company which Judge Paul Conley is the president of.

Hobock was arraigned in Milan on April 24, but the court date was reset for July 31.
