Felon arrested after agents seize crack cocaine, weapons from home

PRESS RELEASE FROM THE WEST TENNESSEE DRUG TASK FORCE - 28TH, 29TH, 30TH DISTRICTS:

HAYWOOD COUNTY, TN. — Agents with the 28th District assisted by Agents from the 30th Interdiction unit and the Haywood County Sheriff’s Canine Unit served a drug and weapons search warrant today on Freedonia Road in Haywood County.

The home was located directly across from the entrance to Blue Oval.

During the search warrant, Agents seized 1/4 ounce of Crack Cocaine, 2 weapons, a container being used to manufacture crack cocaine and scales used to weigh the drug for resale.

The drugs, weapon and scales were all sitting together on a table when seized and one previously multi-convicted felon was arrested from the scene.

The Office of the District Attorney General, 28th Judicial District, Frederick Agee is prosecuting this case.
