Pickleball players battle it out on the courts
JACKSON, Tenn.—A pickleball tournament hits the courts in the Hub City.
The three-day fall pickleball tournament, presented by the Hub City Picklers, took place at Conger Park in Jackson.
The tournament began on Friday and continued until just before noon today.
Players were divided into age groups of men and women, as well as singles and doubles divisions for each day’s play.
Gold, silver, and bronze medals were presented to the winners.
“We had some pretty good numbers for this one. We had over a hundred players join us this weekend with such beautiful weather,” said Julie Wigger, owner and creative director, Hub City Picklers.
The pickleball tournaments take place in the Spring and Fall and the registration fee to enter is $75.
