West Tennessee Healthcare appoints new president and CEO during monthly meeting

JACKSON, Tenn. — West Tennessee Healthcare’s Board of Trustees meet to approve several resolutions during their monthly meeting.

The board discussed their integration with the Henry County Medical Center and adopted assumed names of those corporations.

They also approved a purchase of new infusion pumps along with resolutions to approve privileges for medical staff members.

We also asked about who would assume the role as interim CEO following the recent passing of CEO James Ross.

“In accordance with JR’s plan for success in the organization, going forward the board has approved and appointed Tina Prescott, our chief operating officer, as the new president and CEO of West Tennessee Healthcare,” said Amy Garner chief communications and compliance officer for West Tennessee Healthcare.

Also for their plans moving forward, a resolution was made to sell some of the West Tennessee Healthcare property at 10 Garland Drive for $750,000.
