Construction begins at intersection of Vann Drive and Country Club Lane
JACKSON, Tenn. – Construction at the intersection of Vann Dr., Country Club Ln., and Express Dr. started Monday and is expected to take approximately six months to finish. The project is being completed by Gary A. Taylor Investment Company.
According to Paul Taylor, Director of Engineering and Construction, traffic flow will continue in all directions during the project. There may be certain portions of the roadway closed at various points throughout the project, but it is not expected to impact traffic flow.
The initial phase of construction will focus on expanding road widths and realigning Vann Dr. and Express Dr. The project calls for a traffic signal to be installed at the intersection and that is expected to be completed late 2025.
“Additional improvements along Vann Dr. and Country Club Ln. are currently in the design phase, and we anticipate these will be implemented over the next two years,” said Taylor. “Our goal is to create a safer, more functional intersection for both local residents and regional shoppers.”
