Jackson-Madison County General Hospital welcomes first baby of 2025

JACKSON, Tenn. — Every year, the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital shines a light on their first born baby of the new year.

This year, the Forgrave family welcomes a new baby boy named Wilder Blake Forgrave. His mother, Crystal, tells us where she got the inspiration for the name.

“My little brother actually named him. I helped raise my brother since he was nine, and as soon as he found out I was going to have a baby, it was the first thing he said. That’s actually his middle name — is Blake,” said Crystal.

This is the Forgraves’ first baby, and they expressed how happy they they are to be heading home to get some much needed rest.
