The Ned now accepting donations for ‘Tree of Warmth’
JACKSON, Tenn. — You can help residents in the Hub City stay warm this winter who might not have the means to purchase winter items.
‘The Ned’ in downtown Jackson is now accepting donations for the ‘Tree of Warmth.’
Every year The Ned takes donations of hats, gloves, socks and scarves and hangs them on trees for anyone who needs them. This is a tradition The Ned has been doing for residents in Jackson to keep warm during the colder months.
“They’re free to take. If you’re cold, grab something. We will try to have everything out everyday and we’ll continue to do this as long as it’s still cold outside and as long as we still have things to put out,” said Jordan Alexander, creative services manager.
You can drop off new or used items to The Ned offices from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
