Fryer Fire at North Jackson Restaurant

JACKSON, Tenn.- A fryer fire at a north Jackson restaurant filled the restaurant with smoke Monday night. Firefighters were called out just before 9 p.m. to the Long John Silvers location on North Highland Avenue. It took them about 10 minutes to get the flames under control. There was no word on the extent of the damage, but investigators said there were no reports of injuries. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
