Cars Collide on N. Highland and Hale St.

A wreck in midtown Jackson sent on man to the hospital and slowed traffic to a crawl late Friday morning. Police said as an SUV was heading north on Highland Avenue just before 11:30, a car pulled out at the intersection on Hale Street. The collision sent the car spinning into a retaining wall. The car’s driver was taken by ambulance to the hospital, however his injuries are not believe to be serious. Neither of the drivers were cited in the crash.
