The 2025 Cardboard Boat Regatta takes place this Saturday, May 10, on Discovery Park’s South Lake. Want to be part of the fun but didn’t have time to make a boat? Test the waters in the Instant Cardboard Boat Regatta.

In this contest, you’ll have an hour and a half to build your boat on-site with materials provided by Discovery Park. Just bring the creativity and maybe a little bravery. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m., with building for the instant race starting at 9 a.m.

Got your boat built but didn’t register yet? No problem. You can still pre-register online or sign up at the gate on the day of the event.

Saturday, May 10, 2025 | Check-in at 8:30 a.m.

Guests that are only stopping by for the Cardboard Boat Regatta can enter through the Train Depot gate or at the main entrance and spectate at no cost.
