4-Year-Old Killed While Riding Tractor

A small Gibson County community is mourning after a tragic accident Tuesday afternoon, leaves one 4-year-old dead. According to the Gibson County Sheriff’s Department, the incident happened a little after 3:30 in the China Grove community. Deputies said a 4-year-old was riding on a dual wheel, four wheel drive tractor, with an adult when the tractor began to turn into the wind. That is when officers believe the door flew open and the child fell from the tractor and suffered fatal injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
