According to information presented in Lake County General Sessions Court, 34-year-old Phillip Michael Kimble is charged with one count of aggravated rape, and three counts of solicitation of a minor.
Kimble was booked into the Lake County jail around 12:35 a.m. on Saturday, September 20.
An affidavit suggests that at the time of his arrest, Kimble was employed at Lake County Schools. Information online indicates he has also taught at several other schools. Details on his current employment status have not been confirmed at this time.
An affidavit shows that multiple juvenile students, ages including 14 and 15-years-old, have alleged illicit behavior involving Kimble.
The affidavit shows that one student described a situation that allegedly occurred this past summer. The student stated that while walking, they were approached by Kimble – who was driving a vehicle – which led to Kimble offering the student a ride. The student stated that after getting in the vehicle, Kimble drove in the wrong direction, pulled over, and raped the student before later dropping the student off at a gas station.
According to the affidavit, separate claims from other students involve Kimble using Snapchat to communicate inappropriately, with students claiming they received messages from him that were sexual in nature.
At this time, Kimble remains in custody. He was arraigned in court Monday morning, and was issued a $250,000 bond. He’s expected to appear back in court on September 29 at 9 a.m.
