JACKSON, Tenn. — Students, staff and alumni from the years before celebrate homecoming in the Hub City.

The Jackson Central-Merry High School homecoming parade took place Friday morning, kicking off at 9:30.

Following the parade is a student tailgate, a pep rally, and other activities for the JCM community.

The day culminates with the Homecoming Royalty event at 5:30 p.m., leading into the Homecoming football game at 7 pm.

“It’s gonna be a community event,” said Principal Ramonica Dorsey. “Alumni will be coming out and the community will be coming out. Our football team is excited to have their own field.”
