In response to being advised that Sheriff Woolfork was asked to resign and that he has refused: “It is sad that it has to come to this, but I believe the Commission‘s action requesting that the Sheriff resign is appropriate. I am not surprised that the investigation validated the claims of Sharon Sangster and Lisa Balderama. I am also not surprised that the Sheriff if refusing to voluntarily resign. That is exactly what I would expect from someone so arrogant to think he is above the law. He has taken advantage of women that work for him and well as the tax payers.
