JACKSON, Tenn.-Before you go to a big name store to do your holiday shopping, the city of Jackson is encouraging you to think local. The website Pinterest is helping the city promote holiday shopping spots in West Tennessee. The web page will feature items such as wine from Century Farms and retailers in Paris and Brownsville. “We’re hoping that through the images people can look at events or look at shopping opportunities and find something that appeals to them and go out and explore our community,” said Lori Nunnery of the Jackson Convention & Visitors Bureau. If you want to promote your business on the social site, visit the “Seen on 7” section of www.wbbjtv.com.
