American Red Cross Announces Curtis Morman as Executive Director of Mid-West Tennessee Chapter
JACKSON, TN January 2, 2026 –The American Red Cross of Tennessee proudly welcomes Curtis Morman as the new Executive Director of the Mid-West Chapter, effective immediately. With decades of proven leadership experience and more than three years of dedicated service to the Red Cross, Morman has been instrumental in advancing community engagement, strengthening volunteerism, and driving mission-focused initiatives. His commitment to building resilient communities will continue to guide the chapter’s efforts in delivering hope and help where it’s needed most.

“We’re excited to welcome Curtis Morman as the new Executive Director of the Mid-West Tennessee Chapter,” said Joel Sullivan, Regional Chief Executive Officer for the American Red Cross of Tennessee. “Curtis brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of impact in Madison County. His leadership will be instrumental as he expands partnerships and strengthens our mission across the chapter. I’m confident Curtis will thrive in this role and continue to drive our work forward with passion and purpose.”
Curtis brings experience in community engagement, public health and disaster preparedness. Known for his collaborative approach, he has also guided efforts in affordable housing, pastoral care and community development to create lasting, positive impact.
“I look forward to continuing the work of advancing the mission of the Red Cross through the Mid-West Chapter. Over the past three years, I have worked collaboratively with staff and volunteers while leading the Community Adaptation Program—strengthening resilience across Madison County,” Curtis shares. “As Executive Director, we have a unique opportunity to expand this work throughout West Tennessee, deepening partnerships with key stakeholders in each county to drive meaningful, measurable impact for residents through our core lines of service.”
Last fiscal year in the Mid-West Tennessee Chapter, Red Cross volunteers provided care, food, hope and shelter to nearly 200 families following local disasters. Volunteers also helped install 508 free smoke alarms and the chapter collected nearly 450 units of blood.
