JACKSON, Tenn.–A brand new way to test drive a vehicle just by using your phone? It’s one of the newest advances in today’s technology.
Tesla has a new way for west Tennesseans to experience getting behind the wheel for a test drive.
Users can schedule a test drive from their website or app, and then receive a confirmation with the reservation information including car location, model, and arrival time.
The process is very simple. Download the Tesla app, uploaded a photo of your drivers license, then simply unlocked the car with your phone.
Users will of course, need a valid drivers license and the process to upload your information is quick and all through the app. This method of test driving a vehicle by using your phone is ideal especially since the car maker doesn’t have a dealership in town.
After you’re finished with your test drive, Tesla requires drivers spend at least 25 minutes at a super charging station. Simply go on their app, look for near by super chargers to find the nearest one.
