The event took place at 5 p.m. at Unity Temple Church of God in Christ in Jackson.

It was not only a way to celebrate and commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. but an opportunity to come together in solidarity to reflect on all he fought for.

The CRMC is composed of African-American ministers forming a united front.

The group works to build community relationships, build connections and strengthen the local community.
