Local Church hosts screening of ‘Sound of Hope’

JACKSON, Tenn. — One youth program hosts a special event to watch a one of a kind movie.  The Youth Villages hosted a free community screening of the ‘Sound of Hope’ film.  The screening was held at New Greater Bethel AME Church in East Jackson.

“The Sound of Hope is a beautiful movie about a town in Texas that they actually opened up their church. People in their church, the pastor and church members decided to become foster parents. It really is a great interpretation of foster care,” said D0nna Goodman, Foster Care Recruiter for West TN Youth Villages.
