Jackson Fire Department provided resource information to homeless
JACKSON, Tenn. – Members of the Jackson Fire Department spent part of the cold morning on Saturday, January 24, checking in on those who are homeless in the city.
According to a post from JFD, firefighters assisted in ensuring the homeless were aware of the resources and the dangerous weather conditions.
Jackson Firefighters from Battalion 1 C spent this morning checking on our folks that are experiencing homelessness. Firefighters discussed the impending extremely cold weather warnings and warming center locations and other assistance programs. #CommunityPride
