Semi Hits Utility Pole, Knocks Out Power

JACKSON, Tenn.–A semi truck hit a utility pole near the intersection of Airways Boulevard and Lafayette Street in downtown Jackson on Monday morning. A JEA spokesperson confirms the accident knocked out power in several areas downtown. Crews are assessing the damage. We‘ll bring you more information as it becomes available.
