Eviction Update on National Tobacco Company

DRESDEN, Tenn.- WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News has an update on the pending eviction of National Tobacco Company in Dresden which could mean the loss of 50 jobs. Monday, the tobacco company and its landlord were supposed to go to court, but the hearing was rescheduled. The company said the property owner has refused to make repairs to the building and is now trying to evict them. According to the chancery court judge’s office a new date for the hearing has not been set.
