Hospitalized Man Dies after Being Hit by Car in Wheelchair

JACKSON, Tenn.-10 days after he was hit by a car while in his wheelchair Kenny Austin has passed away. His brother told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News Austin died late this morning while still hospitalized in Memphis. He was hit November 15 near the entry of his apartment complex along North Parkway. At the time officers said they did not expect any charges would be filed. Funeral arrangements are being held by Mercer Brothers Funeral Home in Jackson.
