Humboldt Organization To Deliver Thanksgiving Meals

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — Locals volunteered their time Tuesday morning to prepare meals that will be delivered to the less fortunate this Thanksgiving. The Humboldt Ministerial Alliance is gearing up for its annual Thanksgiving program, which delivers meals to those in need. “We have so many people in the economy, being the way that it is, that need food and we just want to reach out and meet some of the needs of the people,” executive director of the Helping Hands Ministry Emma Lindsey said. The organization will deliver more than 300 meals and as many as 400 more will be picked up.
